Tongue Twisters

Tounges get tied when these challenging phrases are revealed.

Number of participants: 3+
For: For kids over 7 years, youths and adults.
Intensity level: Low
Preparations: Write the tongue twisters on index cards.
Equipment: prepared tongue twisters on index cards

Have players each draw an index card which has a tongue twister written on it. One by one, they go in front of the group and repeat their tongue twister six times as fast as they can. Tongues will get tied up. If a player thinks he/she can do better, give it a try. Here are some examples to get you started:

Aluminum linoleum
Black bug’s blood
Toy boats tote tots
Rubber baby buggy bumpers
She sells seashells by the seashore
Unique New York eunuch
Red leather, yellow leather
Six thick thistle sticks
Texas taxes tax us
Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers
