Can you grab a spoon faster then everyone else?

Preparations: You will need a deck of cards and spoons.

“Spoons” can be a lively game and can break the ice at any party. You will need spoons to play, but have one less than the people who are going to play. Each player in the game receives four cards of the same suit from the deck. An example, with 5 players you could use the Aces, 2s, 3s, 4s and 5s. Shuffle the cards and deal them to the each of the players. Each player should have have four cards. Put the spoons in the middle of the table so that every player can reach them. Each player chooses one card from their hands, pass that card to the person on their left, and pick up the card they’ve received from the person on their right. Players can never have more than four cards at one time. It’s illegal for a player to pick up a new card before passing one to the left. When a player collects four of a kind, they grab for a spoon from the middle of the table. The player who does not get one has a strike against them. The game will follow until a player has received three strikes. You can this part two ways. Either have them out of the game or make them do a dare of some sort.
