Kids become song writers as they work together to come up with silly songs!

Children begin by working together to create a silly song title. Funny titles are highly encouraged. Examples include titles such as “Football Cookies Taste the Best” and “My Feet Stick More and More”. Children will then choose one child to make up a song to go with that title on the spot. Each child should have the chance to make up at least one song. As the game progresses, the songs will become sillier and crazier. At the end of the night, children vote on the different songs and award prizes. Awards can be given out for “Funniest Song”, “Best Song”, and “Best Voice”.
*This game can be altered and played with Poems instead of Songs. In this case, all children can be given paper and pencil. Once a poem title is declared, all children have a few minutes to write a short poem. Awards and prizes can be handed out to all who participate.
