Scrambled Words

Word games are always fun and a creative way to pass some time! Children try to unscramble the correct words to win!

Number of participants: 3+
For: For kids and adults of all ages.
Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: Prepare a list of 10 scrambled words. Try to keep words party related. Ex: for Race Car Themed Party, use words like Nascar, Pit Crew, etc...
Equipment: Pencils

Prior to the party start out, prepare scrambled word lists. Lists can be created or downloaded from the internet. For party themes, jumbled word lists can be created or found for specific parties. For example, a princess themed party can have scramble words such as: princess, tiara, purple, and much more. Pass out one sheet of scrambled words for each child to figure out and a pencil or crayon. Children will need to unscramble the words correctly.

*Can award prizes one of two ways: The fastest unscrambler (player who unscrambles all of the words correctly first), or the player who gets the most unscrambled correctly in 60 seconds.

*Word scrambles can also be made simple for young, beginning readers. Words can be smaller, three or four letter words such as: hat, gown, or shoe.
