Children take turns being the leader and calling out silly, fun commands!

Number of participants: 3+
For: For kids under 6 years.
Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: none
Equipment: none

Determine a starting and finishing line and choose one child to be the leader.  The leader will be in charge of choosing activities and speeds that the other children will have to obey in order to reach the finish line.  The leader will pick an activity (dance, jump, skip, etc…) and a color (red - fast, blue - normal , green - slow). Once the leader shouts out the combination (ex: Red Dance), the players do those commands until the next combination is called.  Any child who does the wrong activity or at the wrong speed will have to start at the beginning again.  The first child to cross the finish line will win the game and become the leader for the next round.

*For younger children (toddlers), it is encouraged that an adult become the leader so that the commands can be more controlled and easier to accomplish.
