Musical Bumps

A variation of Musical Chairs, children dance around until the music stops! Be the first to sit and win this game.

Clear a space large enough to allow for children to dance.  Set up a radio or cd player (children’s music is recommended).  Start some music and encourage the children begin to dancing.  After a minute or two, stop the music.  All of the children need to sit down completely on their behinds as quickly as they can. The last child to sit down is out of the game.  This game play continues until only one child remains.  The last child remaining is the winner of the game.  The winner can be awarded a prize.  Continue playing until children tire of the game.
