In this dodge ball type game, healed warriors return to play again and again.

Number of participants: 5+
For: For kids over 7 years, youths and adults.
Intensity level: High
Preparations: None or not specified.
Equipment: a soft rubber ball, two armbands (strips of cloth or handkerchiefs will do)

Divide the group into two teams. Have them stand facing each other inside two neighboring playing areas. Each team must choose one of their own players to be their “Medic.” Each Medic wears an arm band and is not allowed to throw the ball. Give the soft rubber ball to one of the teams.  When the host shouts “Go!” the player throws the ball and tries to hit a player on the opposing team. When a player gets hit, he/she is wounded and must sit down and cannot catch or throw the ball. If the Medic retrieves the ball and gives it to a seated player, that player is “healed” and can reenter the game.  Balls that bounce before hitting someone don’t count, and balls that are caught on the fly don’t count either. But be careful not to hit the Medic. Whenever the ball hits a Medic, his/her team scores a point. So the Medic can try to block throws and protect his/her players. Continue playing until one team scores ten points.
