Make a Spider Web
A thrilling game to play indoors or out! Children tangle themselves up while building a spider web!
For: For kids under 12 years
Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: none
Equipment: Balls of Yarn (1 per child)
Purchase several balls of yarn, one for each child who will be participating. Give each child a ball of yarn and remember, different colors will make this much more interesting. Tie the start of the yarn loosely around each child’s waist. Once all children are holding their balls of yarn and are also attached to the end, the players are ready to begin. Place children into a circle, facing each other. At the same time, have all of the children toss their balls to another player. Once each child has caught some yarn, they must drape the yarn around their waist or legs, being careful not to wrap around their necks. Once every child has done this, it is now time to toss that yarn to another player. Continue tossing and draping until they are out of yarn and have created a large spider web. Now children get to untangle the web they weaved!
*Do not wrap around heads or necks!!*
