The guests at a party may have a lot more in common than they might first imagine.

Number of participants: 3+
For: For kids over 7 years, youths and adults.
Intensity level: Low
Preparations: None or not specified.
Equipment: pencil and paper for scoring (optional)

One by one, players introduce themselves to the group by making five statements about themselves: Where they were born, what they do for a living, their favorite ice cream flavor, how many pets they own, and the last movie they saw. Anyone who shares one of the five statements in common, stands up and claims it. For example, “I like chocolate ice cream, too” or “I was born in this town, too.” Each of the players standing scores a point, including the original player to make the statements, one point for each statement matched. The game continues with players taking turns introducing themselves untilĀ one player scores ten, or everyone has had a chance to make an introduction.
