Children search out a hidden item with the help of clues!

Preparations: Purchase candy bars or party gifts to hide.
Equipment: Candy Bars or Party Gifts
Determine a room to play this game in and choose one child to be the “finder”. The finder then needs to leaves the room and the remaining children will hide an object (preferably a candy bar or a party gift). The finder comes back into the room and attempts to find the item one step at a time. With each step, the other children shout out such clues as “Cold!”, “Colder!”, “Warm!”, “Warmer!”, or “Freezing!” depending on whether the finder is getting closer or further away. The cold commands indicate that the object is far or farther away. The warm commands indicate that the object is close or closer. The children will say “Boiling!” once the finder is almost there. The finder is awarded the object, and another child is choosen. Continue playing until all children have received a candy bar or party gift. This is a simple game to play and every child gets the opportunity to win a prize!
