Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: You will need one blindfold for each team of two.
Equipment: blindfolds for half your guests

The game, “Farm Animals” is mainly for couples to play but anyone can.  Your guests will need to be split into teams of two.  Teams should consist of one male and one female.  Tell your guests that each team of two must choose a animal.  It can be any animal, whether it be a jungle animal or a animal you see everyday.  One of the players in the teams of two will need to be blindfolded.  The other player along with the players from their teams must get together in the middle of the area.  The only way that the teams of two can communicate is by making noises like the animal that they have chosen.  They cannot use words or other noises to get their partner to find them.  The first player to find their partner by using the animal noise will win the game and a prize of your choice.

Memory is the key to this childrens charades game!

Number of participants: 5+
For: For kids under 6 years.
Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: none
Equipment: none

Determine a large area for game play and have children stand inside of it.  Each player is secretly given a farm animal to act out (allow children to pull animals out of a hat). The children are timed for 2 minutes.  During this time limit, every child attempts to act out their animal with movements and sound.  While acting out their own animal, each child must be watchful of the other children and try to remember all the animals they see acted out.  After 2 mins, each child names off all the animals they saw.  The child who correctly names the most farm animals, wins the game.  This game can be played over and over, allowing the children to change their animal each time.

*Although this game is commonly played with farm animals, other variations can be played.  For a sports themed party, children can pull different sports out of a hat to act out (i.e. hockey, baseball, football, etc…).
