The “Dictionary Game” is a good game for those that think they know everything. This may show them that they might not always be right but it is funny if they are not. One player chooses an odd word from a dictionary, and they will spell it out to the other players in the game . All the players then write definitions of that word, hopefully making them sound like real dictionary definitions that you may read in a dictionary. The first player reads out all the definitions that the other players have written. The correct definition will be included among them. Each player then votes which definition they think is correct for the word that had been given in the beginning of the game. A point is awarded to all the players who chooses the correct definition and also to anyone whose false definition was accepted as true by another player. It pays to be good at bluffing with this game.
