This simple game is cheap and easy to plan.  Toddlers and young children alike enjoy this easy indoor search!  To begin, be sure to purchase 3 or 4 large boxes of crayons (72 count or more) prior to the party.  Open the boxes and hide all of the crayons throughout a room.  Hand out a bag to each child; a Ziploc baggie or brown lunch bag will work fine.  Send all of the children into the room to search and collect as many crayons as they can.  Once all of the crayons have been found, count up each bag of crayons.  The player with the largest amount of crayons will be the winner.  Award the winner a prize, a coloring book or two is suggested.  All players are allowed keep the crayons they found as party favors and the children can also be encouraged to trade their crayons if they want, allowing for more play time.
