Begin by creating several colored squares out of construction paper.  Place these colored squares on floor or ground approximately 5, 10, or 15 feet away from the start line. Line children up behind the start line and hand the first child 3 bean bags.  If children have made their own bean bag, then allow each to throw their own up to 3 times.  Children then toss the bean bags at the specified color squares.

This game can be done in rounds.  For instance, round 1 can ask for each player to toss the bean bags at the red square which is only 5 feet away.  Round 2 can ask for each player to toss the bean bags at the blue square which is placed at least 10 feet away.  Game play can continue until all players but one are left.  The last child standing is award the winner.

This game can also be done as a point game.  Each bag can be awarded points based on the square it lands on.  Each bag on the red square only 5 feet away is awarded 1 point.  Each bag on the blue square that is placed 10 feet away is awarded 2 points.  Each new square is given a certain number of points based on its difficulty.
