This pick up game is a whirlwind of cleaning fun! Pick up more socks than the other team to win quick game!

Preparations: Collect 50+ pairs of socks.
Equipment: 50+ Pair of Socks

Designed for young children, this game is an excellent way to work off energy! To begin, find 50 or more pairs of socks. Socks can be old or new. Go into a child’s room and toss the socks throughout the entire area. Be sure to try and hide socks as well as keeping them in the open. Divide the children into even teams and hand each a small laundry basket or bag. Teams begin the clean up with the word “Go!”. Racing against each other, the teams collect as many socks as they can. Once the room is clean of socks, count the socks for each team to determine the winner. Award the winning team with candy or prizes.

*Socks are easy to use for this game, but other materials can be used as well. Materials can be: rags, washcloths, ribbons, or more.
