Bean Bag Toss is fun for kids of all ages. Toss the bag into the box to win!

Number of participants: 1+
For: For kids and youths under 16
Intensity level: Medium
Preparations: Buy or Make Bean Bags. To make, use socks, dried beans, and tie off with a rubber band. Prepare Box. Use an old cardboard box and cut an appropriate sized hole in the top.
Equipment: Bean Bags, Cardboard Box with Hole

Outfit a box (cardboard or wooden) with one or more holes cut out.  The box should be able to stand perpendicular to the ground.  Also, be sure that the holes are large enough for the bean bags to be tossed through.  Place the box far enough away to create a challenge for the participants (5, 10, or 15 feet away is recommended based on the age and abilities of the children playing).  Each player will get 3 bean bags to toss at the hole in the box. For every goal, award a piece of candy or small toy as a prize. *For younger children use a box with a large hole and allow them to stand close enough to toss the bag into it. *Different boxes can be created for this game.  For instance, a box can have 3 different holes carved into it.  Each hole can be a different size and height off of the ground.  Children can then be required to toss a bean bag into each of the holes.
