All Elbows
Chase down balloon-bearers and elbow them out of the game with a bang!
For: For kids over 7 years, youths and adults.
Intensity level: High
Preparations: Clear the room of any fragile or breakable items.
Equipment: a balloon and a length of string for each player
Give each player a balloon and a length of string. Instruct them to blow up their balloons, then tie them to their own ankles using the string. All players are then asked to get down on the floor on their hands and knees. The object of the game is for players to pop everyone else’s balloons before their own gets popped. The one important rule is that balloons can only be popped by using elbows… no hands, no stepping or stomping on them with feet or knees. Elbows only. The last player remaining with his/her balloon intact is the champion.
